Yes! If we can fit you in on the day we’ll do our best to do so, though it’s always best to book in advance.
  • Can I park outside?
There is on-street parking available outside the salon however, there are restrictions in place so please check the signs thoroughly. There’s alternative parking available on nearby streets such as Clyde Street, Johnson Street & Charles/Mornington Road.
  • What payment methods do you take?
We take all types of card payments, mobile devices, cash and cheque. We’re also able to send payment links via SMS when necessary.
  • Do you remove polish applied by other salons?
Sadly not, after many years of experience we have found that sticking to our chosen brands of polish that we have applied is the best policy. This helps us to make sure we know exactly what we are working with, that we adhere to our treatment timings, and that clients leave the salon happy with their nails.
  • What brand of nail polish do you use?
We use the following brands of polish for our nail treatments: Standard Mani/Pedi CNDâ„¢ Vinylux Shellac Mani/Pedi CNDâ„¢ Shellac BIAB Manis The Gel Bottle We can also perform our mani and pedi treatments with no polish if required.
  • Do you offer treatments for gents?
Yes! Almost all of our treatments can be tailored for gentlemen, we have a specific range of gent’s treatments too. However, we don’t offer male intimate waxing.
  • How long do your Gift Vouchers last?
Gift vouchers are sold with a 6-month validity period which is detailed on the back of the voucher and on the voucher receipt. Mirror Mirror Beauty may offer a gesture of goodwill in place of an expired voucher where there are fair and reasonable circumstances under which a voucher could not be used within its validity period.
  • Can I book for someone else?
Yes, we appreciate that sometimes a client may want to surprise someone with a pre booked appointment or book a loved one in who isn’t able to book themselves. We just require a few details of the client making the booking and the client attending the appointment.
  • Do I need a patch test?
Some of our treatments require a patch test at least 48 hours before treatment, this is to make sure a client is safe to have the relevant treatment and to satisfy our insurers regulations. Patch tests must be performed by Mirror Mirror Beauty, we do not accept patch tests performed by other salons. Patch tests have to be performed on new clients and clients who haven’t had the relevant treatment for 6 months or more.
  • What treatments can’t be provided together?
Whilst we do our best to combine treatments to save time for clients, there are some which can’t be performed on the same day: Waxing & Tanning Waxing & Facial Abrasion (Peels, Needling, MDA) Full Pedicures & Tanning LVL Lashes/Brow Lamination & Tanning Massage & Tanning

Yes it is, there is a small lip at our entrance door which is at street level. The rest of the salon is all on one level. Our toilets are sadly not suitable for disabled persons as there is a small step up onto where the toilet itself sits.
  • Do you have pedicure chairs?
Sadly not, due to the age of the building and drainage limitations we are not able to install pedicure chairs. We perform pedicures using treatment beds and will always strive to make client as comfortable as possible.

Most of our treatment rooms have electric beds, if you have mobility issues and require an electric bed please let us know in advance.

  • Can I bring my child with me to my appointment?
Generally, we ask clients do not bring children into the salon with respect to other clientele having relaxing treatments and to maintain a quiet and calm atmosphere. We appreciate that this may not always be possible, particularly for short appointments, in these instances we just ask that children are quiet and calm whilst they wait.
  • What about dogs?
Guide dogs are more than welcome at the salon as long as they are quiet and well behaved but we do ask that normal pets are not brought in unless it’s to make a purchase.
